Front End Developer - Java (TL27)

Experience:

• Build websites using WordPress themes in a fast-paced environment

• Communicate design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, mockups, and wireframes as needed

• Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients

• Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients, as needed

• Create, test, and improve new modules for existing website themes

• Manage, revamp, and redesign the company website as needed to keep the design up to date and fresh

• Follow the established guidelines, standards, and best practices

• Keep up with the new regulations, processes, and web development trends

• Actively engage with relevant teams in improving or expanding upon current processes

• Perform quality control checks on new website builds, correct or recommend changes as needed

Experience:

• 2 years of experience in website design

• Focus on user interface - UI, and user experience - UX design

• Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL

• Ability to write clean code and follow coding standards

• Exceptional, pixel-perfect attention to detail

• Experience with web hosting and launching websites

• Creative, adaptable, and willing to learn new techniques

• Excellent visual and verbal communication skills

• Able to work within a team

DataStage Developer - Java (TL23)

Experience:

• Design, develop, and maintain DataStage ETL jobs to specifications.

• Optimize existing DataStage jobs for performance

• Reviewing job designs and code created by other DataStage developers

• Troubleshoot DataStage job failures and provide root cause analysis

• Work with the development team to ensure that all DataStage jobs adhere to company standards and best practices

• Provide support for production DataStage jobs as needed

• Develop new DataStage jobs to load data into the data warehouse

• Test DataStage jobs for accuracy and performance

• Deploy DataStage jobs to production environments

• Monitor DataStage job execution and troubleshoot issues as needed

• Maintain documentation for all developed jobs

• Provide support for ongoing data loads and issue resolution

• Helping project leaders with project timeframes and objectives

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in DataStage development and administration.

• Experience with ETL tools such as DataStage, Informatica, Ab Initio, or Oracle ETL

• Strong SQL skills and other relevant coding languages

• Experience with Hadoop is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Expert in DataStage solution conception, design, and deployment

• Outstanding analytical & problem-solving abilities

• The capacity to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
